Florida with a lot of force.
We always knew he was a powerhouse of energy but we
had no idea he was such a destructive force too.

September 11, 2004 -
HayPatch, UT - The harvest is on!
What started off gently enough with munching of lots of
fresh veggies and fruit suddenly turned into a flurry of full
blown harvest picking, eating and canning.
Tomatoes, apricots, raspberries, plums and peaches, have
been canned into a myriad of jams, conserves, chutneys and
preserves.
David Oakeson was quoted as saying, "I think this is a
record, " when discussing the amount of canning occurring at
the HayPatch. |

New paint makes this little guy look sharp!
|
|
September 11, 2004 -
HayPatch, UT - With a little bit of paint, shingles
and some good ol' elbow grease, several of the old buildings on the
HayPatch are getting a new chance at an even longer life.
The old red building (pictured below), rumored to be well over 90
years old, got a new roof. Soon, it will become an art studio. (The
full transformation to studio will take some time and lots of
further work, but for now, the roof doesn't leak! A major
improvement in itself.)
Also receiving a new coat of paint -- the back porch on the
"purple" brick house as well as the old little pump house.
