July 3, 2003 - HayPatch, UT - Just a slab of new concrete? Au contraire! This is another fine stretch of roadway brought to you by your tax dollars!

On July 2, at approximately 10:30 am, the newest sections of road Redwood were being laid adjacent the HayPatch.

After each slab was extruded out of the machine, pictured above, several workers with large squeegees smoothed the surface, pictured below.

The workers indicated that another slab, closer to the HayPatch would be laid in two weeks time. Can a complete roadway be far behind?!

July 3, 2003 - HayPatch, UT - During a picnic in a canyon not far from the HayPatch, rumors were running rampant about Andrea's inability to whistle. To quell further rumors, this reporter caught footage of Miss Andrea's apparent whistle talent. Click her photo (at left) to bear witness of her whistling.

Not to be outdone by Andrea's "whistling," Erin and Sarah call the wildlife in the area with mouth to cupped hands.
